This painting was inspired by the beautiful Skagit valley and the tulips that bloom here every spring attracting thousands of visitors from all over. I love the vibrant colours and unique colour combinations on some of the tulips in my area, driving by the pretty rainbow fields is always such a treat. I tried my best to capture the magic these flowers bring every year.
